According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), Vietnam seafood should keep an eye on Pakistan market. In recent year, Vietnam pangasius are becoming more popular with Pakistan people due to its tasty flavor, convenience, good quality and reasonable price.

Vietnam pangasius exporters to Pakistan enjoy many advantages. They only need health certificates to sell their fish products to the market without subjecting to any technical barriers such as antidumping duty. Thus, Vietnam exporters can strengthen exporting their pangasius products to the market. It is expected that Pakistan will purchase more seafood from Vietnam in coming time to satisfy its seasonally high demand for seafood in the winter (from September to January).
